How the R2CA Video Call Works
Once you have registered for a video call you will receive in your email:
- Zoom Meeting date and time
- Password protected Zoom Meeting Link
- R2CA Recruiting Worksheet for College on video call
- R2CA Recruiting Notebook for upcoming call
- Outline of information the coach will cover on the call
Preparing for the start of the video call:
- Review the R2CA Recruiting Worksheet for the upcoming institution
- Prepare any recruiting questions that you will want answered on the upcoming call
- It is recommended to have a way to take notes on information covered on the video call (R2CA Notebook provided for notes)
Once the video call starts:
- Coach will introduce himself and begin a presentation about their institution
- There are multiple breaks in the presentation that allow for questions
- Questions are welcomed at the designated times through out the presentation
- It is recommended that the R2CA Recruiting Worksheet is available to you during the call
Once the video call ends:
- Review notes taken through out the video call
- Discuss what you liked and disliked about topics covered
- Compare information to past video calls with a different coach
- Complete the R2CA Post-Call Survey which will be in your email
- Register to have a R2CA Evaluation completed by the coach on the call
